– Raheem Khan

Baran (Rajasthan): The Girls Islamic Organization (GIO), Baran unit, organized a one-day camp titled “Learning by Fun” on Monday, June 30, 2025, at Jamia Kausar School. The event aimed to nurture creativity, teamwork, and Islamic values in children through engaging competitions.

GIO President Gulfiza Anjum shared that the camp included mehndi (henna) design, drawing, musical chairs, balloon racing, and an Islamic quiz. The goal was to boost the talents and skills of the children while connecting them with the organization and Islamic teachings.

Around 85 to 90 children participated actively. Along with the competitions, a tree plantation activity was also held. Children were taught the importance of trees and caring for the environment as per Islamic values.

The event concluded with a prize distribution ceremony. Children who secured the first, second, and third places were awarded. The chief guests, Ziaur Rahman, Secretary of Jamaat-e-Islami, and Yusuf Raj, a member of Jamaat-e-Islami Baran, presented the prizes.

The success of the camp was credited to the GIO team. Secretary Mahjabeen Ansari, along with members Shazia, Alisha, Tasmia, Nazia, Sadia, and others, worked hard to make the event possible.

The Learning by Fun camp offered children a joyful space to learn, grow, and strengthen their bond with Islamic values through fun-filled activities.
