Dr. A.M. Khan Appointed as Vice-Chancellor of Karnatak University, Dharwad

Dharwad: In a significant development for higher education in North Karnataka, Dr. A.M. Khan has been appointed as the new Vice-Chancellor of Karnatak University, Dharwad (KUD). The appointment was officially confirmed by the Governor of Karnataka, who serves as the Chancellor of state universities, reported the Hubballi Times.
Dr. Khan, a native of Dharwad, is currently a professor at Mangalore University. With a Master’s degree in Electronics and more than 26 years of teaching experience, he brings a wealth of academic expertise to his new role.
Widely respected in academic circles, Dr. Khan has presented numerous research papers at international conferences and has contributed to several collaborative research projects, including those with the Indian Space Research Organisation (ISRO). His appointment is seen as a step towards further strengthening the university’s academic and research profile.
