Aligarh: Prof. S.M. Khan, a renowned faculty member from the Department of Psychology at Aligarh Muslim University (AMU), delivered a series of engaging lectures at the University of Kashmir, Srinagar, on July 14 and 15. Over the two days, faculty members and research scholars from various fields attended eagerly to learn about new and emerging ideas in education and research.
On July 14, Prof. Khan addressed the Department of Commerce, where his practical demonstration on leveraging Generative AI for research captivated participants, highlighting how emerging technologies are reshaping scholarly pursuits.
Later, at the UGC Malaviya Mission Teacher Training Centre (MMTTC), he conducted two sessions under a Faculty Development Programme (FDP), focusing on “Scale Development and Standardisation” and “Stress Management and Well-being among Educators.”
Both sessions were praised for offering practical tools and fresh perspectives for academic professionals.
On July 15, Prof. Khan was welcomed by the Department of Psychology, delivering insights on conducting research amid evolving academic contexts. His subsequent lectures at the ongoing Faculty Induction Programme (FIP) at UGC MMTTC explored “Generative AI for Teachers” and “Inclusive Education through Digital Accessibility,” sparking engaging discussions on the future of education.
