RIFAH Chamber of Commerce Organizes Successful Entrepreneurship Workshop in Jaipur

The Rajasthan Chapter of RIFAH Chamber of Commerce and Industry held a dynamic full-day Entrepreneurship Workshop at Manthan Hall, Constitution Club of Rajasthan, Jaipur. The event, coordinated by Mr. Mohammed Fahad Sarwana and Ms. Ayesha Rabbani, attracted nearly 70 aspiring entrepreneurs, students, and professionals from the business community.
The workshop commenced on a spiritual note with Qur’an recitation by Mr. Abu Baker Nadwi and Mr. Mohammed Imran, followed by interactive introductions among participants to encourage collaboration and networking.
Ms. Ayesha Rabbani opened the learning sessions with a presentation on the fundamentals of entrepreneurship, highlighting critical qualities such as problem-solving, adaptability, and the importance of continuous learning.
The keynote address was delivered by Mr. Rais Ahmed of the Jodhpur Institute of Export & Shipping Management, who offered detailed guidance on initiating an export business. He explained key elements like GST registration, Import Export Code (IEC) renewal, building digital identity, and navigating international trade processes.
Mr. S. S. Shah, Additional Commissioner from the Department of Industry & Commerce, Government of Rajasthan, elaborated on state-backed initiatives, including the New Entrepreneur Policy, MSME classifications, Rajasthan Investment Promotion Scheme (RIPS) 2024, Vishwakarma Yuva Udyam Protsahan Yojana, and the Export Credit Card program.
In his address, Mr. Naim Rabbani, President of RIFAH Rajasthan, emphasized the organization’s commitment to ethical entrepreneurship and social upliftment through resourceful networking and support for budding startups.
The event was graced by Chief Whip of Rajasthan Legislative Assembly, Mr. Rafik Khan, who praised RIFAH’s efforts and underlined the critical role entrepreneurship plays in driving economic development.
The post-lunch session featured Mr. Jamil Khan, Mentor at iStartUp Rajasthan, who spoke about digital marketing, startup fundraising, and introduced participants to the iStartUp ecosystem and government platforms like GeM (Government e-Marketplace).
Mr. Aayaz Sheikh, CEO of AZ Innovation, inspired attendees by encouraging local problem-solving through innovation. He showcased practical inventions such as the Corakshak Device and Vatsalya Kawach, developed to tackle regional challenges.
The workshop concluded with memento presentations to the speakers, certificate distribution to participants, and a heartfelt dua by Mr. Shahid Khan, General Secretary of Jamat-e-Islami Hind, Rajasthan. The program was also attended by RIFAH advisory board members.
The workshop stood out as a major success, igniting the entrepreneurial spirit and fostering practical knowledge-sharing within Rajasthan’s emerging business landscape.
