Vijayawada: Jamaat-e-Islami Hind (JIH) has announced a series of service activities to commemorate the birth anniversary of Prophet Muhammad. The initiative, according to State leader Akbar Basha, will focus on community-oriented programs aimed at welfare and education.
At a press conference, JIH Vijayawada North member Md. Ziauddin highlighted the organisation’s history of service spanning seven decades. He recalled JIH’s relief work during the Uttarakhand floods, along with medical camps and vocational training programs that have supported youth development.
Leaders Abdul Kalam and Mujahid Khan said JIH has been consistently engaged in social work through schools and coaching centres. They added that the Prophet’s birth anniversary provides an opportunity to extend these efforts and to underline values of compassion, service, and justice.
The planned programs will include medical assistance, awareness drives, and educational support activities. Organisers stressed that these efforts are not limited to one community but are open to all sections of society. They said this approach reflects the inclusive spirit of the Prophet’s teachings.
The announcement places emphasis on service as a meaningful way to celebrate the Prophet’s life and legacy. JIH leaders urged wider community participation in the activities to ensure maximum impact. They also reaffirmed the organisation’s long-term commitment to continue expanding service initiatives across different sectors.
