PUNE: The Girls’ Islamic Organization (GIO), Camp Unit, Pune, organized an Inter-School Seerat-un-Nabi Quiz on Sunday, 21 September, at Lady Hawabai School, Lady Zubaida School, and Al Jadeed School. More than 120 girls took part in the event from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM. Students responded with enthusiasm, displaying their knowledge and love for the Prophet Muhammad ﷺ. The program was designed to encourage young minds to learn from the Prophet’s noble life.
Alongside the quiz, an inter-school speech competition for junior college students was also held at Lady Hawabai School. Students highlighted different aspects of the Prophet’s teachings and their relevance in contemporary life. Both activities were met with positive participation and created a spirit of learning and reflection.
On the same day, Jamaat-e-Islami Hind Akurdi Unit organized another Seerat-un-Nabi Quiz Competition across three schools, the Akurdi Jamaat office, and Noor-e-Ilahi Masjid. Registrations stood at 430, while around 375 students participated on the exam day. The program saw strong support from parents and dedicated efforts from organizers. Certificates and trophies will be distributed to students in the coming weeks.
Organizers reported that the initiative brought Seerat awareness to more than 400 households, with many families appreciating the simplicity of the Prophet’s life after reading about it.
Community members expressed hope that such educational efforts continue to nurture a deeper understanding of the Prophet’s example among the youth.
