Maharashtra: A grand award ceremony was held for the winners of Seerat-un-Nabi competitions organized by Safa Islami Makatib Maharashtra and Safa Moral Education Maharashtra under the patronage of Jamaat-e-Islami Hind, Maharashtra. The competitions, which included drawing, essay writing, storytelling, Seerat quiz, and Seerat exhibition, drew enthusiastic participation from students across the state.
Over 1,800 students took part in different categories held over several dates. For the Seerat quiz, cash prizes of Rs. 5000, Rs. 3000, and Rs. 2000 were awarded for the first, second, and third positions respectively. In addition, five students from each group received encouragement prizes, and toppers from each school were also honored.
Notably, 23 students secured full marks, with 22 of them belonging to Anjuman Urdu High School and Junior College. Their outstanding performance was recognized with cash prizes, certificates, and trophies. Every student who participated in the exhibition also received certificates and trophies as a token of appreciation. At the state level, Shuaibullah Khan, a teacher, received a special award for essay writing, while a primary school student from Khamgaon was recognized in the online video contest.
The program was attended by Amir-e-Halqa Maharashtra Ilyas Khan Falahi, District Nazim Buldhana Suhail Furqan, Family Counseling Secretary Umair Ahmad Khan, and other dignitaries. The key address by Ilyas Khan Falahi emphasized learning from the life of Prophet Muhammad (peace be upon him) and applying his teachings to everyday life.
The event witnessed the presence of a large number of students, parents, journalists, and local leaders. Organizers and volunteers from Jamaat-e-Islami Hind, GIO, and SIO worked tirelessly to ensure its success. The ceremony concluded with a prayer by Maulana Ilyas Khan Falahi.
