Tripoli: Egyptian Quran scholar Dr. Ahmed Issa Al-Maasarawi has been honored as the “Personality of the Year” at the Libya International Quran Award. The recognition celebrates his lifelong dedication to Quranic scholarship, teaching, and preservation.
Dr. Al-Maasarawi, a former Grand Imam of Al-Azhar University, is widely respected for his deep expertise in Quranic recitation and interpretation. He has trained generations of students across the Muslim world, emphasizing precision, discipline, and devotion in Quranic learning. His works have contributed to standardizing Quranic recitation methods and strengthening Quran education institutions globally.
