Jaipur: The RIFAH Chamber of Commerce and Industry, Rajasthan State, through its Jaipur Chapter, organized the “EmpowerHer Business Meet” to support and connect women entrepreneurs. The event aimed to identify emerging women business leaders, strengthen their professional network, and promote ethical business practices in line with Islamic principles.
Around 25 women attended the session and shared their business journeys and experiences. They discussed practical challenges such as limited market access, financing barriers, and the need for mentoring and collaboration. The gathering served as a platform for participants to exchange ideas and explore opportunities through RIFAH’s business network.
The program opened with Tilawat wa Tazkeer by Mohammed Imran, Nazim-e-Shehar Jaipur, Jamaat-e-Islami Hind. RIFAH Joint Secretary Mohammed Fahad Sarwana outlined the vision and objectives of the initiative, emphasizing community-based business development and collaboration.
RIFAH Rajasthan President Naim Rabbani delivered the keynote address, highlighting the role of honesty and transparency in trade. Quoting Qur’anic verses and Hadith, he reminded the participants that “Allah Ta’ala has made trade lawful and interest unlawful,” and that “nine parts of livelihood lie in business.” He urged women entrepreneurs to maintain ethical standards in all business dealings, viewing enterprise as a form of worship when free from deception.
The program ended with Dua by Zaheer Ullah Khan, Vice President of RIFAH Rajasthan, followed by refreshments and networking among participants. Organizers announced plans to hold more such sessions to address the specific needs of women entrepreneurs and to expand their access to resources and mentorship.
