Fatehpur: A tragic incident in Gada Ganj, Raebareli, has left the community shocked after Hariom Balmiki, a resident of Fatehpur, was beaten to death by a mob. According to the family, the attackers accused him of theft and subjected him to brutal violence, including severe injuries to his eyes and body.
The Association for Protection of Civil Rights (APCR) immediately responded to the incident. On Monday, APCR district president Advocate Mohammad Tufail, along with a team including Maksud Ahmed, Mohammad Hafeez, and Abdul Samad, met with the victim’s family. They assured full legal support and guidance to pursue justice against the perpetrators.
The family demanded strict action against the attackers, including capital punishment, reflecting their call for accountability and deterrence. APCR emphasized the need for immediate investigation and protection for the victim’s relatives, ensuring that such mob violence does not go unpunished.
