AIUTC Organises Free Unani Medical Camp at Saket Court

New Delhi: The All India Unani Tibbi Congress, in collaboration with the Saket Court Bar Association, organised its 134th Free Unani Medical Camp under the leadership of Advocate Shah Jabeen Qazi. A large number of advocates and staff members of Saket Court benefited from the camp.

From Safdarjung Hospital, Dr. Manish Tiwari (Dentist) and Dr. Pankaj Ranjan (Ophthalmologist), along with their teams, conducted free check-ups and offered valuable medical advice.

On this occasion, Dr. Syed Ahmad Khan, Prof. S. M. Arif Zaidi, Prof. Muhammad Idris, Dr. Ilyas Mazhar Hussain, Dr. Habibullah, Dr. Mirza Asif Baig, Dr. Altaf Ahmad, Dr. Tayeba Razik, Dr. Uzair Bokai, Dr. Khurshid Alam, and Hakeem Hafiz Muhammad Murtaza Dehlavi, among others, rendered honorary medical services. Patients were examined for various ailments and provided with free medicines.

Addressing the inaugural session, Prof. Muhammad Idris said that the All India Unani Tibbi Congress is the only organisation in the country that has consistently organised a large number of free Unani medical camps – from slum areas to high courts. Through these efforts, the Congress has conveyed the message that Unani medicine is equally beneficial for all sections of society.

Prof. S.M. Arif Zaidi remarked that there is no reason to feel any inferiority complex, as today’s era is one of specialisation. People, having grown weary of other systems of treatment, are increasingly turning towards Unani medicine. “We are pleased,” he said, “that we have been successful in treating many ailments once considered incurable. What is needed now is the use of high-quality medicines.”

The vote of thanks was delivered by noted social worker Abdul Basit.
