New Delhi: The renowned Urdu magazine Urdu Book Review has been in publication for the last thirty years, and it is now completing its thirty-first year. The latest issue, covering July to September 2025, was released by senior journalist Mr. Mansoor Agha and the National President of Urdu Development Organisation, Dr. Syed Ahmad Khan.
Present at the release ceremony were the editor of Urdu Book Review, Mr. Mohammad Arif Iqbal, along with Wafa Azmi, Israr Ujaini, Dr. Khurshid Alam, Dr. Muzaffar Hussain Ghazali, Mohammad Irfan Jonpuri, and the wife of Mr. Mansoor Agha.
Expressing his good wishes on the completion of thirty years of Urdu Book Review, Mr. Mansoor Agha highlighted the documentary significance of this magazine. He further said that through Urdu Book Review, Urdu is being represented not only in India but also at the global level. In his view, this is a great service to the Urdu language, literature, and history. He also said that the editor of Urdu Book Review, Mr. Mohammad Arif, deserves congratulations for publishing it consistently and with great dedication.
Dr. Syed Ahmad Khan said that on the completion of thirty years of Urdu Book Review, scholars should introduce the Urdu world to the services rendered by this magazine.
