Mumbai: The India Palestine Solidarity Forum held a press conference at the Mumbai Press Club highlighting the resilience of the people of Gaza and their struggle against Israeli aggression. Speakers described the courage of Palestinians as a message to the world on how to confront oppression and injustice.
Addressing the media, representatives of the forum said the people of Gaza had shown unmatched strength under siege and continuous attacks. They emphasized that their sacrifices serve as an example for humanity on standing firm against occupation and tyranny. One speaker stated, “The people of Gaza have sent a message about how to subdue the oppressor.”
The forum presented an overview of the humanitarian crisis in Gaza and traced the historical roots of the occupation. The speakers said Israeli military actions had destroyed homes, displaced families, and targeted civilians, violating international law. They urged greater international awareness and unity in support of Palestinian rights.
Participants also appealed to the Indian public to speak up for justice and peace in Palestine. They stressed that solidarity from civil society was vital for challenging oppression anywhere in the world. The event featured banners and visuals expressing unwavering support for Gaza and called for an end to Israel’s occupation and blockade.
