New Delhi, Dec. 19: All India Unani Tibbi Congress (AIUTC), Delhi organized a grand farewell function here on the retirement of Prof. Mohammad Idris, former Principal of A&U Medical College, Karolbagh. Prof. SM Arif Zaidi (Former Dean, Faculty of Unani Medicine, Jamia Hamdard, New Delhi) presided over the function.
He said Dr. Muhammad Idris played a very active role during his service as a pharmacist, administrator and outstanding academician. He wished more people like him should come forward and contribute as a role model for the students and public.
He further said that Tibbi Congress is at the top today because of selfless service towards the system. It is a big entity to acknowledge the services of people on its behalf.
Secretary General of AIUTC Dr. Syed Ahmad Khan welcomed Prof. Muhammad Idris Sahib and Prof. Arif Zaidi Sahib, saying that their contributions to the medical community are unforgettable.
Dr. Ghiyasuddin Siddiqui, Dr. Mirza Asif Baig Amrohawi, Hakeem Aftab Alam, Hakeem Muhammad Murtaza Dehlavi, Muhammad Iqbal, Nadeem Arif and Muhammad Imran Qannaoji, etc. were among the renowned participants of the event.
