Guwahati, Jan. 10: Asomiya Islami Sahitya Prakashan Samity has launched three books during the ongoing Book Fair at Assam Engineering College, Chandmari, Guwahati ground here.
Assam Prakashan Parishad has been organizing the Book Fair for the last 34 years.
The books launched are Namaz Rojar Mormo Kotha, Imaan aru Islamor Shorup, and Hajj or Mul Tatta.
Abdul Khaleque, Member of Parliament, Barpeta Constituency; Engineer Syed Mustaque Ahmed; and Government retired officer and Advocate Shahnawaz Ahmed, Advocate Guwahati High Court graced the book launching ceremony. In the launching programme, Abdur Rahman, Secretary Asomiya Islami Sahitya Prakashan Samity, and other officials of the publication were present.
All three books are parts of Khutbat translated into Assamese, originally written by renowned writer and thinker Maulana Sayyid Abul A’la Maudoodi.
