SIO Gujarat organises Udaan Children Festival at multiple locations

The Udaan Children Festival 2024, organized by the Students Islamic Organization of India (SIO) Gujarat, unfolded across multiple locations, beginning in Surat and concluding at Narimanpura Farm, Badrabad, Ahmedabad, in January 2024.

The SIO Surat Unit initiated the festival, featuring stage and sports activities that attracted over 400 students from 30 schools. Notable exhibitions included a focus on Holistic Parenting and exploring Quranic verses on space. A prize distribution ceremony recognized the talents of participants, with Zonal President Javed Qureshi delivering an inspiring speech.

The festival continued at Narimanpura Farm, Ahmedabad, showcasing diverse competitions for students in grades 5 to 8. Approximately 300 students participated in activities such as debates, Hifz competitions, and sports races. The event kicked off with an inaugural speech by Faisal Maniar, Convener of Udaan Children Festival 2024.

During the concluding ceremony, awards were presented, and leaders highlighted the role of SIO in enriching the youth. Dr. Salim Pateewala, President of JIH Gujarat, emphasized encouraging children’s enthusiasm and holistic development. Educators praised SIO Gujarat’s efforts, and organizers Khalid Qureshi and Sohel Tanveer were commended.

The winners, recognized in various categories, were awarded by SIO and Jamaat leaders.
