Top Performing AMU Schools Students Bag Shervani Prizes

Twenty-one meritorious students of Aligarh Muslim University Schools brought laurels to their schools by winning Shervani Prizes for their excellent performance in the annual senior secondary school examination-2023.

The Shervani Prizes conferred by Bharat Sewa Trust were distributed on January 15 among the students by Prof Rafiuddin, Dean Students’ Welfare, and Dr. M. Mujahid Ali Khan and Dr. Shamsh Tabrez Khan, Assistant DSWs, Aligarh Muslim University (AMU) in a ceremony at the DSW office.

The highest prize of Rs. 35000/- was given to Ms Farah Deeba (AMU Girls School) who scored 98.20% marks among the students of all streams.

Laksha Ranpoot (AMU Girls School) and Ayush Goyal got the prizes of Rs. 20000/- each for scoring 97.60%, while Mihir Gupta (97.40%) and Mehak Iram (97.40%, Senior Secondary School Girls) were given prizes of Rs. 16000/- and 10000/- respectively.

Yuvika Kulshreshtha (AMU Girls School) and Garvita Gupta (Senior Secondary School Girls) received a prize of Rs. 9000/- each for scoring 97.20%, while Rifa Habib Khan (AMU Girls School), Navneet Varshney (NRSC) and Ayesha Bi (Senior Secondary School Girls) received Rs. 8000/- for a common score of 97% in 12th examination.

Nehdia Sufyan (AMU Girls School), Mradul Singh (RMPS AMU City School), Harshit Sharma (NRSC) and Shamama Saif (Senior Secondary School Girls) got Rs. 7000/- each, for scoring 96.80%.

Four students, including Afifa Anjum, Pragya Singh, Tahseen Nishat (all from AMU Girls School) and Harshal Gupta (NRSC) got a prize of Rs. 6000/- each for scoring 96.60% in the 12th exam.

Pari Keshwani and Poorvi Gupta (both from AMU Girls School) and Alisha Raza were given a prize of Rs. 5000/- each for getting 96.40% marks in the senior secondary examination.
