Madrasa Jamia Tayyaba organizes Quiz on Republic Day

Jaipur, Jan. 27: Madrasa Jamia Tayyaba celebrated the Republic Day at Nahari Ka Naka here. Sara Ismail, Vice President of Haridev Joshi Journalism University and Madrasa Secretary Qari Mohammad Ishaq hoisted the tricolor. The children donning tricolor dupattas presented a brilliant patriotic song and Naat. They were holding the tricolor in the hands.

The Madrasa and Awam-e-India Channel also organised a quiz program on this occasion. Six groups namely Allama Iqbal, Sir Syed, Hasrat Mohani, Suraya Tayyab, Razia Sultan and APJ Abdul Kalam were formed. Sara Ismail asked about 24 questions about freedom fighters, the Constitution and the tricolor. Hasrat Mohani Group came first while Suraya Tayyab Group was declared second and APJ Abdul Kalam Group third. The winning group was awarded a certificate of appreciation and a gift.

Sara Ismail said the children participating in the quiz proved that they have good knowledge about the country and the Constitution. He said such programs will be organized in other schools in future as well. An inter-school competition will be organized for the teams that come first.

Madrasa Secretary Qari Ishaq said that on the Republic Day, there are often programs like patriotic songs or group dances, but for the first time, a quiz was organized here, through which the children got information in a great way. He said they organized such programs in the madrasa from time to time so that the children come to know that Muslims also had a great contribution to the country’s independence, Constitution building and development of the country.

Qari Ishaq said the madrasa regularly organizes such programs to instill a sense of patriotism in the children.
