Port Blair, Feb. 6: In a significant turn of events, Sudhir Choudhary, the renowned host of Aaj Tak’s prime-time show ‘Black and White,’ has issued a public apology following a formal complaint filed against him by Prakash Minj, General Secretary of Ranchi Association of Andaman and Nicobar Islands. The complaint, lodged at the Aberdeen Police Station on February 3, alleges that Chaudhary’s remarks concerning Jharkhand’s then Chief Minister, Hemant Soren, are part of a larger conspiracy and have contributed to his resignation.
The complaint, registered under the SC-ST Atrocity Act, underscores concerns raised by Mr. Minj and other supporters regarding the recent arrest of Hemant Soren by Enforcement Directorate (ED). He stated, “The matter does not end at the wrong arrest of a tribal Chief Minister; it continues with the irresponsible behavior by the media in maligning and tarnishing the tribal communities.”
