Bihar JEE Main topper Abubakar aspires to be computer scientist

Patna, Feb. 14: Abubakar Siddique of Seemanchal’s Kishanganj district has been declared Bihar state topper in JEE (Joint Entrance Examination) Main examination. The result was announced on Monday night. Abubakar’s father Abuzar Alam runs a marble shop and does farming also. His mother Nuzhat Fatmi is a homemaker.

According to the National Testing Agency (NTA), which conducts JEE, Abubakar got 99.9923205 percentile in India’s top engineering entrance test.

Abubakar got 100 percentile in chemistry. He aspires to be a computer scientist. His next target is to get admission in India’s top IIT (Indian Institute of Technology). He is preparing hard for the upcoming JEE Advanced which decides which IIT a student will get after clearing the cut-off mark.

Abubakar did his schooling from Kishanganj’s Oxford International School and moved to Noida for further preparation. Oxford International School’s managing director Tafheem Rahman congratulated Abubakar. He said, “Abubakar’s hard work paid off. It is a proud moment for his parents and alma mater.

One of his teachers Khurram Mallick wrote on social media that Abubakar is a brilliant student who excels in Urdu also. “He is a very talented student and his result is a proof of that. He is an inspiration for other students for a backward area like Kishanganj.”

Abubakar says that any student aspiring to compete JEE and join IIT should study ten to twelve hours seriously. He says that these days mobile phones have become a necessity but students should use them judiciously which can be a good tool to study also. He says that one should keep a tab on screen time to save studies from distraction.
