Religious Scholar Tauqeer Raza Inaugurates Shaheen Edupower

New Delhi, Mar. 6: Maulana Tauqeer Raza, founder Ittehad-e-Millat Council from Bareilly, inaugurated Shaheen Edupower, a new venture of Shaheen Group of Institutions, with the objective of improving the standard of minority institutions by providing infrastructures and other support to promote education on Monday.

After the inauguration, Chairman of Shaheen Groups of Institutions said, “An initiative taken some 15 years ago has been able to impart quality and valued-based education. We are trying to spread it to other parts of the country on the same concept of spreading quality education. This center will focus on education and training of girls and it can accommodate about 500 girls. Education and training together can help create good human beings and a good society.”

On Madrasa Plus Initiative, Dr. Qadeer, said, “It aims at empowering 10,000 Madrasa students with the contemporary education, elevating the educational landscape. It aims at bridging the gap between traditional and modern education.

“At the heart of our program lies a comprehensive 18-month curriculum meticulously crafted for Huffaz and Madrasa students from 53 select Madrasas across India. The Initiative is tailored to guide students, who were either dropouts or had never experienced formal schooling, towards successfully completing their Class X education,” said Qadeer.

The progress report was also released, highlighting analysis of the academic performance of 1542 Madrasa students from 44 Madrasa centers, focusing on the subjects of English and Mathematics over a four-day period. Additionally, it highlights the status of Academic Intensive Care Unit (AICU) program, emphasizing efforts made to enhance the academic performance of students within these selected centers.

Maulana Tauqeer Raza, Ex-MP Shahid Siddiqui, Prof Akhtarul Wasey, Mujtaba Farooq, managing director Edupower; S.Q.R Ilyas, president of Welfare Party of India and Kaleemul Hafeez, entrepreneur and educationist also spoke on this occasion. They lauded the role of Dr Qadeer and stressed the need of value-based quality education as the only way to empower the community.
