Lucknow, March 20: The Zakat and Charitable Foundation, an organization dedicated to social welfare in Lucknow and its surrounding areas for the past three years, has extended its compassionate efforts by distributing 400 Ramadan kits to underprivileged families this Ramadan.
With a mission to ensure that fasting individuals encounter no obstacles in breaking their fast and partaking in iftar during the holy month of Ramadan, the Foundation has embarked on a noble initiative to deliver these essential kits directly to the doorsteps of those in need.
Maulana Zubair Malik Falahi, Secretary of the Foundation, emphasized that the establishment of the Zakat and Charitable Foundation stemmed from a concerted movement led by esteemed scholars and professionals. He underscored the Foundation’s overarching goal of fostering the economic, social, and educational development of marginalized communities while addressing their fundamental challenges.
Highlighting their dedicated efforts during Ramadan, Maulana Zubair revealed that the Foundation has been actively distributing Ramadan kits and Iftar packets. Thus far, they have successfully reached out to 400 families with Ramadan kits and provided 1450 Iftar packets to ensure that everyone can observe the holy month with dignity and ease.
In light of their ongoing efforts to support vulnerable communities, the Foundation calls upon well-wishers and benefactors to contribute generously, enabling them to extend their assistance to even more individuals in need during this auspicious time.
