Pune is hosting the G20 Interfaith Summit at the World Peace Dome in Loni Kalbhor from September 5 to 7. The G20 Interfaith Forum began with homage to Dr. Vishwanath D. Karad, the Founding President and Director General of the MIT World Peace University in Pune, India, with 2000 people in attendance. According to his main beliefs, only the “union of science and spirituality will bring peace and harmony to the entire humanity.”
Over 2,000 religious leaders, representatives from faith-based organizations, policymakers from the government, academics, and young people are accepted to attend the summit.
The summit is hosting lectures on peace and humanitarian action. It is organized by the World Peace Centre, Alandi, the G20 Interfaith Forum, and the Interfaith Alliance for Safer Communities.
On September 6 and 7, there will be debates on a variety of subjects, including actions for promoting peace, food security, climate change, safeguarding religious and cultural heritage, assets, ethics, and the dangers of artificial intelligence for communities.
