Dawate Iftar Celebrates Telugu Unity on Saudi Soil

Riyadh, Apr 5: In Riyadh, Saudi Arabia, the Saudi Arabia Telugu Association (SATA) hosted a remarkable Dawate Iftar, showcasing a beautiful tapestry of religious harmony. This annual event, held to foster unity among Telugu-speaking individuals, transcended boundaries of religion and nationality, drawing over 600 participants.

Following the Taraweeh Namaz, attendees indulged in a sumptuous banquet featuring authentic Andhra cuisine. SATA, the largest social organization in Saudi Arabia in terms of membership, served as the driving force behind this inclusive gathering.

The evening commenced with a recitation of the Holy Quran by Hafeez and Khari Sadeen Ziyan, followed by a heartfelt speech in Telugu underscoring the significance of Ramadan. SATA’s founding president, Mallesh, and Anand Raj took the stage to articulate SATA’s mission and objectives.

During the program, emphasis was placed on the enduring tradition of coexistence and unity among Hindus, Muslims, Sikhs, and Christians, echoing sentiments shared by ancestors. Amer Maroof delivered a profound message from the Quran, leaving a lasting impression on all attendees.
