JIH Andhra Pradesh Hosts Eid Milan Celebration Promoting Interfaith Unity

Vijayawada, April 19: In a heartwarming display of communal harmony, Jamaat-e-Islami Hind (JIH) Andhra Pradesh organized an Eid Milan gathering at ICO School here Sunday. This event welcomed people from diverse faiths and backgrounds, embodying the spirit of togetherness and empathy synonymous with the holy month of Ramadan.

The celebration, graced by esteemed guests including Mohammed Rafique and Mohammed Kareemuddin, President and General Secretary of JIH Andhra Pradesh respectively, showcased the significance of sharing and solidarity during Ramadan. Chakradhavula Sitaramacharyu Garu, a prominent Head Priest, and D.R. Jeevanandam Garu from Goodpard Ministries also lent their presence, underscoring the festival’s role in fostering national unity.

Highlighting the essence of Eid Milap, Md. Rafique emphasized that the gathering was not limited to families but extended a warm invitation to all friends, emphasizing the universal message of inclusivity and compassion. Meanwhile, Swamy Sri Chakradhavula Seetaramacharyulu shed light on how such celebrations contribute to strengthening communal harmony and national unity.

Md. Kareemuddin reiterated the tradition of communal bonding during Eid, where people from all walks of life come together to seek blessings and share joy. Reverend Jeevanand echoed this sentiment, emphasizing the openness of Eid celebrations to individuals of all religions and backgrounds, a testament to the event’s enduring community participation.

The event, orchestrated by JIH Hanuman Junction, Krishna District, under the leadership of unit President Naseer and Adam Shafi, exemplified the organization’s commitment to fostering interfaith understanding and unity.
