Beawar, April 22: On Sunday, a significant Eid Milan event took place at Hotel Vinod in Beawar, Rajasthan, jointly organized by various groups, including Jamaat-e-Islami Hind Beawar, Sadbhav Manch Beawar, Youth for Ambedkar Beawar, Student Islamic Organization of India, Beawar, and Girls Islamic Organization Beawar.
The ceremony, chaired by JIH Rajasthan State Secretary Er. Muhammad Ramzan Yusuf, commenced with a Quranic recitation by Maulana Abul Kalam.
Welcoming attendees, Dr. Javed Hussain highlighted the purpose of the event – to foster communal harmony and brotherhood across different religions and ideologies in India. He emphasized the importance of promoting mutual understanding and dialogue.
Retired Principal of Government College, Jaitaran, Dr. Jaiprakash Taylor, emphasized the coexistence of diverse religious and sectarian communities in India, stressing the need for mutual love and harmony.
Social worker Kalpana Bhatnagar condemned anti-national forces that incite religious conflicts for personal gain, urging unity against such divisive influences to ensure the country’s safety and peace.
Gynecologist Dr. Anjana Rathi emphasized the essence of humanity embedded in all divine scriptures, urging people to focus on communal harmony to foster national progress and dispel misinformation.
Rubina Abrar, State Secretary of JIH Rajasthan Women’s Department reflected on the significance of Ramadan and Eid, advocating for continued virtuous behavior beyond religious festivals to sustain communal harmony.
Ganga Didi of Prajapita Brahma Kumari Ishwariya Vishwavidyalaya stressed the universal value of non-violence, emphasizing the common humanity shared by people of all religions.
Dr. SC Jain emphasized equal rights for all religious groups in India, advocating for peaceful coexistence and mutual respect.
The event also featured speakers like Prabhakar Bharti of Youth for Ambedkar, Renu Didi of Prajapita Brahma Kumari Ishwariya Vishwavidyalaya, and Rekha Singaria, Vice Principal of Government Mahatma Gandhi School, Jawaja, highlighting the constitutional principles of equality and the importance of promoting goodwill among diverse communities.
The program included cultural performances promoting communal unity through song and poetry, reflecting the spirit of the occasion.
Er. Ramzan Yusuf, in his closing remarks, emphasized the necessity of mutual dialogue and respect to maintain communal harmony, encouraging collective efforts toward peace and justice.
The event concluded with expressions of gratitude from Sadbhav Manch convener Ramesh Yadav, followed by a communal meal where attendees enjoyed traditional dishes like kheer.
