Karkala: A talented girl from Bajagoli village in Udupi district has become Civil Judge. Nasira is the last of three children of Aliabba, who works as a driver in a car driving school, and Nafisa.
Nasira is the first lady in her family to become a judge. She studied in the Kannada medium school of her village. But she realized that it is necessary to be proficient in the English language if she wanted to achieve her goal. Now she has reached the destination. Her parents also have supported her whole-heartedly.
Nasira completed her PUC in Arts from her hometown, Bajagoli, and later completed her LLB degree from Vaikuntha Baliga Law College, Udupi. She joined with K Vijendra Kumar, advocates of Karkala and started practice with G Muralidhar Bhatt. Nasira says that the training she has received over the past eight years from them has been a tremendous learning experience.
She cracked the recently held examination for the post of Civil Judge. Nasira’s achievement has made her parents proud. Her father Aliabba says, “We, who have spent the whole life with difficulties, were dreaming that our children should achieve something in their life. My daughter Nasira has realized my dream.”
“I was involved in games and studies like any other child. But I always had an eye on my goal,” she says.
