A delegation of doctors from Delhi first arrived at the AIUTC Haryana State Office in Nuh. On this occasion, the Hindi edition of Dr. Qamaruddin Zakir’s book “The Beginning of Tablighi Work from Mewat” was released. Following this, the 121st Free Unani Medical Camp was organised under the Unani Upchar Janta ke Dwar Mission 2025 (Unani Treatment at People’s Doorstep Mission 2025) at Jamia Islamia Darul Uloom Siddiqia, a madrasa in village Jalalpur, in collaboration with the All India Unani Tibbi Congress (AIUTC), Delhi and Haryana.
The delegation of Unani doctors from Delhi and Haryana was warmly welcomed by madrasa student Zainab with a welcome anthem. The madrasa head, Maulana Zakaria, greeted all the guests with floral bouquets.
A total of 355 patients benefitted from the camp and were provided free Unani medicines.
Professor Muhammad Idris, former Principal of Ayurvedic and Tibbiya College, Karol Bagh, Delhi, and Dr. Syed Ahmad Khan, former Deputy Director of CCRUM, Govt. of India, and Unani Head, Safdarjung Hospital participated in the camp as Special Guests.
Dr. Syed Ahmad Khan, National Secretary General of AIUTC, said that the free Unani medical camp organised by the AIUTC Haryana is highly beneficial to the public. These efforts make people aware that AIUTC Delhi and Haryana are working extensively for public welfare, providing free consultations and medicines by Unani doctors on a large scale.
Professor Muhammad Idris, addressing the female students, said that hard work is essential for success in any field. He also appreciated and encouraged the children for their cultural performances.
The convener of the programme, Advocate Shah Jabeen Qazi, a social activist, stated that holding such camps in backward regions like Mewat is extremely beneficial.
Dr. Qamaruddin Zakir, President of AIUTC Haryana, expressed deep gratitude to the team of Unani doctors from Delhi for coming and offering their services in Mewat.
Dr. Muhammad Arshad Ghiyas, General Secretary of AIUTC Haryana, welcomed all the guests and stated that most patients at the camp were suffering from seasonal illnesses, joint pains, and skin diseases – conditions in which Unani medicine proves very effective.
Prominent attendees included Co-convener Abdul Basit, Sikandar Hayat, Dr. Shakeel Ahmad, Dr. Ehsan Ahmad Siddiqi, Hakim Ataur Rahman Ajmali, Hakim Murtaza Dehlavi, Dr. Aslam Ali, Dr. Abdussalam Jalalpur, Hafiz Akram Ali, and others.
The programme commenced with the recitation of the Holy Qur’an by student Danista, followed by a Na’at (poem in praise of the Prophet ﷺ) by Shamshad. A powerful speech was delivered by Humaira on the occasion.
Advocate Shah Jabeen Qazi and prominent leader Abdul Basit played a crucial role in making the camp successful.
Hakim Ataur Rahman Ajmali compered the programme, and Maulana Zakaria, head of the madrasa, extended the vote of thanks.
