AAP Will Ensure ₹2,500 for Delhi Women by March 8: Atishi

New Delhi: AAP will ensure that ₹2,500 is given to Delhi women by March 8, as promised by the BJP, along with the continuation of free electricity, water, education, and healthcare, said outgoing Chief Minister Atishi.
AAP National Convenor Arvind Kejriwal met newly elected AAP MLAs on Sunday and instructed them to serve the public with full commitment. After the meeting, Atishi reaffirmed AAP’s dedication to public welfare and holding the BJP accountable. She said Kejriwal directed AAP’s 22 MLAs to focus on resolving people’s issues.
Atishi emphasized that AAP will act as a responsible opposition, ensuring the BJP fulfills its promises, including ₹2,500 financial aid for women and key public welfare schemes. She stressed that BJP committed to approving the scheme in its first cabinet meeting and must ensure the amount reaches eligible women by March 8. “AAP will stand with every woman to guarantee the ₹2,500 is credited on time,” she stated.
She also reminded the BJP of its promises—300 units of free electricity, quality education in government schools, continued Mohalla Clinic services, and free treatment in government hospitals.
Earlier on Sunday, Kejriwal met senior AAP leaders, including MP Sanjay Singh, AAP’s National General Secretary (Organization) Dr. Sandeep Pathak, and Delhi State Convenor Gopal Rai. The meeting focused on AAP’s strategy as the opposition and pressuring the BJP to fulfill its promises.
