New Delhi, June 19: Islami Academy Trust runs a postgraduate centre namely Indian Institute of Islamic Studies and Research (IIISR) where two-year residential courses are conducted catering to graduates from both religious seminaries and secular educational institutions. This year, enrollment for graduates from religious seminaries concluded in Shawwal, while admissions of college graduates are underway. Entrance exams are being conducted, details can be availed from the website or Facebook page of the institute.
This year, the institute aims to attract bright and motivated graduates, hoping that they would also benefit from the institute’s memorandum of understanding with the Abdul Rahman University of Chennai.
Dr. Mohammad Ishaq, (formerly Dean with Jamia Millia Islamia’s Faculty of Humanities) has been appointed as the Honorary Academic Dean, bringing his esteemed expertise to the institute. Similarly, Dr. Haseeb Ahmad, previously a professor of English and College Principal at Aurangabad has been appointed as the Executive Director.
Islami Academy Trust has assembled a dedicated team of trustees that have elected an active secretary, academic dean, and executive director. They now urge supporters of the Islamic movement and Muslim youth nationwide to prepare 20 talented students for admission, envisioning accelerated progress towards their organizational goals.
To discuss these developments further, an online Zoom meeting has been scheduled tonight at 8 PM with officials from various states, said Dr. Hasan Raza, Chairman, Indian Institute of Islamic Studies and Research, Delhi.
