Baran: Ahtasham Uddin Siddiqui has been unanimously re-elected as the president of Anjuman Ittihad-e-Bahami during an election held under the supervision of a three-member committee led by Mufti Mohammad Umar Majahri.
The election took place at the Anjuman Marriage Hall, where a diverse group of community leaders gathered to discuss important issues facing their communities.
The program commenced with recitation of Quranic verses, followed by a comprehensive report on the organization’s activities over the past three years presented by General Secretary Abid Hussain Ansari. Leaders from Baran city as well as the towns of Anta, Siswali, Mangrol, Chhabra, Kishanganj, Atru, Bhanwargarh, and Kawai, were in attendance, all expressing their commitment to the welfare of the Muslim community, focusing on education, employment, and communal harmony.
Prominent figures, including City Qazi Abdul Qayyum, Anjuman President Majid Salim, and Waqf Committee Chairman Irfan Ansari, addressed the gathering, highlighting the importance of unity and collaboration within the community. The event, which emphasized the collective responsibility towards the betterment of the community, was conducted by Abdul Mateen.
