AIMPLB Strongly Condemns Pahalgam Terror Attack, Expresses Solidarity with Victims’ Families

New Delhi: The All India Muslim Personal Law Board on Wednesday strongly condemned the terrorist attack on tourists in the Pahalgam area of Jammu and Kashmir. It expressed deep sorrow and heartfelt condolences to the families of those killed and seriously injured in the tragic incident.
In a statement, Board President Maulana Khalid Saifullah Rahmani denounced the terror attack in the strongest terms and urged the Government of India to promptly investigate the incident and take strict action against those responsible.
Extending his condolences to the families of the deceased and critically injured, Maulana Rahmani said that the Board’s heartfelt sympathies are with the victims. He reiterated the Board’s demand that the government carry out a thorough and swift investigation and ensure that those found guilty are brought to justice.
Maulana Rahmani also expressed deep concern over how such incidents continue to occur despite the heavy presence of security forces and tight surveillance along the borders in Jammu and Kashmir. “This is undoubtedly a severe failure of our security apparatus,” he said. The Board hopes that the government will focus on strengthening the security system in Jammu and Kashmir to ensure the safety of both locals and tourists.
