AIUTC Condoles the Demise of Dr Saud Ali Khan

New Delhi: The All India Unani Tibbi Congress organised a condolence meeting on the demise of Dr Saud Ali Khan on May 4, 2026. He was the former Principal of Ajmal Khan Tibbiya College, Aligarh Muslim University, former National Secretary of All India Unani Tibbi Congress (AIUTC), and former member of the Central Council of Indian Medicine, Government of India.

Dr Syed Ahmad Khan, Secretary General of AIUTC, said that Dr Saud Ali Khan was a compassionate and highly experienced teacher. He began his career as a lecturer at the Rajasthan Unani Medical College and Hospital, Jaipur, and later remained associated for a long period with Ajmal Khan Tibbiya College of Aligarh Muslim University as its Principal. He hailed from Tonk district in Rajasthan. His demise, he said, has created a void in the field of traditional medicine.

During the condolence meeting, prayers were offered for the departed soul, and condolences were extended to the bereaved family with wishes for patience and strength.

Among those who expressed condolences were Prof Akhtar Hussain Chaudhry, Dr Shams-ul-Afaq, Prof S.M. Arif Zaidi, Dr Shahid Shah Chaudhry, Dr Mufti Javed Anwar Dehlavi, Dr Najm-us-Sahar, Dr Shakeel Ahmad, Dr Ghiyasuddin Siddiqui, Dr Mirza Asif Baig, Dr Ehsan Ahmad Siddiqui, Dr Faizan Ahmad Siddiqui, Dr Faheem Malik, Dr Khurshid Alam, Dr S.M. Ahsan Ejaz, Dr Shujauddin, Hakim Mohammad Murtaza Dehlavi, Hakim Rashad-ul-Islam, and Mohammad Imran Kannauji, among others.
