AIUTC Holds Key Meeting in Delhi, Plans Memorial Lecture on Prof. Afzal Ahmad Siddiqui

New Delhi: An important meeting of All India Unani Tibbi Congress (AIUTC) was held at Daryaganj here under the chairmanship of Dr. Shakeel Ahmed Meerthi. The organisation’s General Secretary, Dr. Syed Ahmed Khan, provided key updates on upcoming events and initiatives.

As per the details shared, the 97th Free Unani Medical Camp will be organised in Hyderabad on October 27 under the supervision of Dr. A.A. Khan, followed by the 98th Free Unani Medical Camp in Nuh, Haryana, on November 1, to coincide with Haryana Day. Nuh camp will be held under the supervision of Dr. Qamruddin Zakir.

In addition, a memorial lecture will be held in Rampur, Uttar Pradesh, on December 10, to honour the social contributions of the late Professor Afzal Ahmad Siddiqui, former National Vice President of the Congress and ex-Dean of the Unani Faculty at Aligarh Muslim University. The responsibility for organising this event has been entrusted to Dr. Abdul Salam Khan, Senior Vice President of Uttar Pradesh chapter of AIUTC.

Dr. Syed Ahmed Khan emphasised that the primary objective of the Congress is to promote Unani medicine and safeguard the dignity of those associated with it. He also highlighted the Congress’s ongoing commitment to community engagement and social service. Expressing his satisfaction with the dedication of the organization’s patrons, office bearers, and members, Dr. Khan praised their sincere efforts during these challenging times.

Several notable participants shared their thoughts during the meeting, including Dr. Shakeel Ahmed, Dr. Mirza Asif Baig, Dr. Ehsan Ahmed Siddiqui, Dr. Ghayasuddin Siddiqui, Dr. Faizan Ahmed Siddiqui, Dr. Arshad Ghayas, Dr. Abdul Salam Khan, Hakeem Muhammad Murtaza Dehlvi, Hakeem Aftab Alam, and Muhammad Imran Qanuji.
