Srinagar: All India Unani Tibbi Congress, Jammu & Kashmir, will organise the first one-day State Unani Medical Convention in Sopore on 30 October 2025. In this regard, an important meeting was held under the chairmanship of Hakim Mohammad Ashraf Lone at Darul Shifa, located in High Highland Colony, Sopore, to review the ongoing preparations.
During the meeting, the current situation of Unani medicine in the state of Jammu & Kashmir was discussed in detail.
On this occasion, Hakim Ashraf Lone said that after the formal establishment of the All India Unani Tibbi Congress, Jammu & Kashmir, a state-level medical convention is being organised for the first time. The role of the AIUTC in the promotion of Unani medicine is undoubtedly of great importance in the present era. He added that for restoring health in accordance with an individual’s temperament, the Unani system of treatment is the most suitable. Therefore, it is extremely necessary to popularise its practice.
The meeting was attended by Hakim Imtiyaz Ahmad, Dr. Shaukat Ahmad Qureshi, Dr. Javed Ahmad, Dr. Mohammad Ashraf, Dr. Nazir Ahmad, Hakim Peerzada Shaukat, Mr. Dar Majid, Hakim Mysore Mohiuddin, Hakim Tashfeeq, Hakim Irfan, Hakim Zubair, Hakim Raees, and Hakim Bilal, among others.
