AIUTC Organises Free Unani Medical Camp

New Delhi, Nov. 22: The 77th Free Unani Medical Camp was organized by All India Unani Tibbi Congress (AIUTC) at Khalilabad Parliamentary Constituency, Sant Kabir Nagar, UP. A series of such camps is continuing from 2020 under Unani Upchar, Aapke Dwar Mission-2025.

Inaugurating the camp, Aftab Alam Khan, former President of District Panchayat, Sant Kabir Nagar, said that even today Unani-pathy is popular among the people on a large scale. This is a centuries-old practice of treating diseases and people trust in this pathy.

He said the state government should equally promote all methods of treatment under the AYUSH Mission of the Government of India, because, every pathy has some important characteristics. Unani-pathy is especially beneficial in the treatment of skin diseases, stomach, liver, joint pain and general physical weaknesses.

He said that during Covid-19, everyone became aware of the importance of Unani treatment.

On this occasion, Dr. Syed Ahmed Khan, Secretary General of All-India Unani Medical Congress; Hazrat Maulana Abul Hasan Siddiqui Mazahiri, Maulana Hafeezullah Khan Qasmi, Maulana Wasiullah Khan Qasmi, Maulana Abdul Wahid Khan Qasmi, Anees Ahmed Khan, Hakeem Badr Alam Khan, Hakeem Abdul Karim, Azizur Rahman Khan, Abdul Halim Khan Thekedar and Abdul Rahim Khan, etc. rendered honorary services.

About 200 people benefited from the camp. The first free Unani medical camp was organized by the All-India Unani Medical Congress in Maholi Bazar. Most of the patients who came to this camp for treatment were suffering from joint pain, stomach and liver diseases and diabetes in addition to seasonal diseases. This camp was organised with the cooperation of Haji Salahuddin Khan Memorial Pharmacy and STN Lab.
