New Delhi, July 15: The All India Unani Tibbi Congress (AIUTC) organized its 87th free Unani medical camp at Noorani Unani Dispensary in Shaheen Bagh here. The camp was inaugurated by Dr. Minhajuddin Ahmed, Director of Al-Shifa Hospital, New Delhi. In his inaugural speech, Dr. Ahmed emphasized the importance of serving the community with dedication and ensuring the best possible arrangements for patient care.
Approximately 500 people benefited from the camp. Dr. Ahmed also highlighted the facilities and future plans of Al-Shifa Hospital.
Professor Mohammad Idris, former principal of A&U Tibbia College, New Delhi, attended the event as the chief guest. He stressed the need for focused attention on health and education, lauding the ongoing efforts of the All India Unani Tibbi Congress in these areas. Prof. Idris praised the organizers, including host Hakim Usman and convener Hakim Naeem Raza, for their commendable work.
Dr. Syed Ahmed Khan, General Secretary of the All India Unani Tibbi Congress, introduced the attending doctors and thanked the medical professionals and paramedical staff for their voluntary services. He acknowledged their sacrifice of time and effort for the benefit of the community.
Among the notable contributors were Dr. Mirza Asif Baig Amrohi, Dr. Abdullah Khan Rauf, Dr. Ghayasuddin Siddiqui, Dr. Faheem Malik, Dr. Shakeel Ahmed Hapuri, Dr. Faizan Ahmed Siddiqui, and Dr. Uzair Baqai. Other key participants included Hakim Naeem Raza, Hakim Aftab Alam Khan, Hakim Mohammad Naeem Siwaravi, Hakim Mohammad Murtaza Dehlavi, Advocate Shabi Qazi, Mohammad Jalees Lamra, Mohammad Salman Khan, Ashfaq Ahmed, and Mohammad Owais Gorakhpuri.
The camp saw a significant number of patients with liver and stomach ailments, seasonal flu, joint pain, blood pressure issues, and diabetes. Hakim Naeem Raza expressed gratitude to all participants for their involvement and support.
