Al Falah Baitulmal Launched in Ajeri

– Mohammed Atherulla Shariff

Gulbarga: Safa Baitulmal, an NGO empowering women and marginalised communities through health, education, skills, and livelihood development interventions has become a source of inspiration for others in the field of social service.

Drawing on the lines of Safa, like-minded people of small town Ajeri in Gulbarga district have established Al Falah Baitulmal, which was inaugurated yesterday.

Speaking on the occasion, the founder of Safa Baitulmal Moulana Ghayas Ahmed Rashadi emphasised replicating the life of Prophet Muhammad ﷺ in every sphere of life. Especially, he stressed social service which was the prominent feature of the revered prophet even before attainment of prophethood.

Safa Baitulmal has adopted ‘best out of waste’ style of generating funds for its multidimensional activities. It collects waste and unusable items from people and disposing it off it generates revenue.

Established in 2006, Safa Baitulmal has its branches across Karnataka and won the trust of people. Many other NGOs have come up working on the same lines like Suffah Baitulmal, Sakha Baitulmal, Al Falah Baitulmal.
