The Al-Qassam Brigades, the armed wing of Hamas, announced on Thursday that they carried out fresh operations against Israeli military units and vehicles in the southern Gaza Strip.
In a statement released on their Telegram channel, the group said its fighters struck a group of Israeli soldiers and a military vehicle near the Morag Corridor in Khan Younis.
They further claimed that Israeli forces and vehicles were targeted with short-range “Rajum” rockets in the Philadelphi Corridor, south of the Swedish village in western Rafah. A command-and-control center and a military gathering point in southwestern Rafah were also attacked with the same rockets.
The statement did not specify whether there were casualties among Israeli soldiers in these strikes.
The attacks come as the ongoing Israeli offensive continues to intensify in different parts of Gaza, drawing renewed resistance from Palestinian fighters.
