Aligarh, July 29: Aligarh Muslim University (AMU) has achieved the prestigious first place in India Today’s “Best Colleges of India” ranking, as announced in the magazine’s July special issue. This accolade highlights AMU’s longstanding commitment to providing top-quality education at an affordable cost.
The Zakir Husain College of Engineering and Technology (ZHCET) at AMU has excelled in several categories, securing the number one spot in the rankings for “Top Ten Colleges with Lowest Course Fees (Govt.)” for the entire duration of the course. Additionally, ZHCET has been recognized as the top institution in the “Top Ten Colleges with Best Value for Money (Govt.)” based on Return on Investment (RoI). Furthermore, the Department of Architecture at ZHCET has also claimed the first rank in the list of “Top Ten Government Colleges with Lowest Course Fees” for the entire duration of the course.
In the field of Mass Communication, AMU’s Department of Mass Communication has achieved first place in the rankings for “Top Ten Colleges with Lowest Course Fees” for the entire duration of the course, and for “Top Ten Colleges with Best Value for Money” based on RoI.
Prof. Naima Khatoon, Vice Chancellor of AMU, expressed her happiness with the university’s remarkable ranking. She encouraged faculty members and research scholars to continue striving for excellence in academic quality, innovation, and result-oriented research.
