All India Unani Tibbi Congress Convention to be Held at Azamgarh on July 28

19 Jul. 24: The All India Unani Tibbi Congress (Uttar Pradesh) will host a convention for Unani doctors at Shibli National College in Azamgarh on July 28. The event will be presided over by Professor Mushtaq Ahmad. This convention will also feature the registration of healthcare professionals under the Healthcare Professionals Registry (HPR) managed by the National Commission for Indian System of Medicine (NCISM), Government of India. A team from the NCISM will be present to facilitate this process.

Professor R.K. Sharma, President of the Board of Ethics and Registration, will attend as the Chief Guest. Other distinguished guests include Professor Mohammad Mazahir Alam (Member NCISM, Government of India), Professor Saud Ali Khan (Former Principal, Ajmal Khan Tibbiya College, Aligarh Muslim University), Professor Syed Mohammad Arif Zaidi (Former Dean, Faculty of Unani Medicine, Jamia Hamdard), Professor Mohammad Ajmal (Principal, Ibn Sina Tibbiya College, Azamgarh), and Professor Afsar Ali (Principal, Shibli National College, Azamgarh). Dr. Syed Ahmad Khan, Secretary General of the All India Unani Tibbi Congress, will also be present.

In a joint press conference, Dr. S.M. Ahsan Ejaz (President, All India Unani Tibbi Congress, Uttar Pradesh), Dr. Ehsan Ahmad Siddiqui (Vice President), and Dr. Aqeel Ahmad Azmi (Secretary) provided details about the preparations for the upcoming convention. The program aims to review the status of Unani medicine across India, with a particular focus on Uttar Pradesh.
