All India Unani Tibbi Congress (Tamil Nadu) Reorganized

Dr. Qazi Raziuddin Ahmed Appointed State President,
Dr. S.K.L. Hameeduddin Named General Secretary

 

6 August 2024: The National President of All India Unani Tibbi Congress (AIUTC), Professor Mushtaq Ahmed, has approved the reorganization of the Tamil Nadu unit of the organization. In this restructuring, Dr. Nasiruddin Ahmed has been appointed as the Patron, Dr. Qazi Raziuddin Ahmed as the State President, and Dr. S.K.L. Hameeduddin as the General Secretary.

Professor Mushtaq Ahmed highlighted the importance of Tamil Nadu in promoting Unani medicine in southern India, following the significant contributions of Telangana and Karnataka. He noted that the state’s strategic location facilitates the spread and advancement of Unani medicine to neighboring countries like Sri Lanka and the Maldives.

Expressing his expectations from the newly appointed team, Professor Mushtaq Ahmed emphasized the need for dedication, commitment, and adherence to the principles of the All India Unani Tibbi Congress. He believes this team will play a pivotal role in advancing the Unani medical system in the region.
