Ambala Muslims Send Flood Relief to Punjab with Spirit of Brotherhood

Ambala: In a remarkable act of compassion, the Muslim community of Naraingarh in Ambala district has sent 10 vehicles loaded with relief material to flood-hit areas of Punjab. The initiative was led by Madrasa Zeenat-Ul-Uloom, which issued a call for aid and received an overwhelming response from local residents.

Nisar Ahmed, Najim of the madrasa, said the community was deeply moved by reports of widespread destruction in Punjab where thousands of families lost homes, crops, and livelihoods. Within a short time, they managed to collect large quantities of food, clothes, and essential supplies. Three trucks and seven pick-up vans were dispatched to Amritsar’s Ajnala region to deliver the relief.

Ahmed, who personally accompanied 65 to 70 volunteers, said the effort reflected the true purpose of religion, which is to support one another in hardship. Before leaving, the group gathered to pray for the well-being of all Punjabis. He also confirmed that more material stored at the madrasa will be sent later as required.

The generous gesture has been widely praised as a strong example of solidarity between Punjab and Haryana, highlighting how unity and compassion can bring communities together during disasters.
