Aligarh: Mr. Aman Alam, an alumnus of the Faculty of Law at Aligarh Muslim University, was invited to participate in and address a prestigious conference held at the House of Lords in London on June 4.
The conference, chaired by Lord Uday Nagaraju, focused on the theme “How AI is Reshaping the Legal Profession.” It brought together leading legal experts and practitioners from India and the United Kingdom to discuss the growing impact of artificial intelligence on the legal sector.
Among the distinguished participants were Geeta Luthra and Mohit Saraf, who shared their insights on the challenges and opportunities emerging from the integration of AI into legal practice.
Mr. Alam, who currently practises as an advocate before the Supreme Court of India and is pursuing the Barrister course in England, completed his BALLB (Hons.) degree from AMU in 2022. Prior to his current academic pursuits, he served as a Research Associate to Justice Krishna Murari.
In addition to his legal practice, Mr. Alam is the founder of Win-at-Law, a pro bono mentorship initiative aimed at guiding and supporting law students of AMU in their academic and professional development.
His participation in the conference at the British Parliament is being viewed as a notable achievement for both the young legal professional and his alma mater, reflecting the growing global presence of AMU graduates in the legal field.
