Aligarh: The annual ‘Chrysanthemum, Coleus and Rose Show-2024’ of the Department of Land and Garden, Aligarh Muslim University (AMU) will be held on December 21-22 at the Gulistan-e-Syed.
Prof Zaki Anwar Siddiqui, Member-in-Charge, Department of Land and Gardens informed that the Chief Guest, AMU Vice Chancellor Prof Naima Khatoon will inaugurate the Flower Show on December 21 at 10 am, while the former Vice Chancellor, Prof Mohammad Gulrez will distribute the prizes to the winners on December 22 at 3 pm.
Prof Siddiqui said that the show will be open for participation to all local Institutions, schools and colleges, clubs, societies and individuals and they should send their entries (exhibits) to the Member-Incharge, Land and Garden at Gulistan-e-Syed from 9 am to 5 pm on December 20, and the cut flowers from 7 am to 8 am on December 21.
