AMU Community Medicine JRs Win the First Prize in Quiz

Aligarh: A team of two Junior Residents, Dr. Adarsh Mohan and Dr. Syed Sohaib Hashmi, Department of Community Medicine, J.N. Medical College, Aligarh Muslim University won the first prize in a National Quiz organised during the 5th Annual National Conference of Epidemiology Foundation of India, organised by the Department of Community Medicine and Public Health, King George’s Medical University, Lucknow.

Congratulating Dr. Mohan and Dr Hashmi on their achievement, Prof. Saira Mehnaz, Chairperson of the Department of Community Medicine, said that the team won the final round of the quiz beating 40 teams from various medical colleges from across the country.

She said that in another notable achievement, Dr. Ajitha A. and Dr. Chelsea, Junior Residents, were declared the second runners-up in the riddle competition held during the same conference.

Several other members of the department attended the conference and presented their research work, she added.
