AMU Dream Big Initiative Witnesses Launch of Book on Women Nobel Laureates

Aligarh: A two-volume book titled “The Nobel Women: Biographical Timelines (1901–2023)” was launched during the ‘Early Goal Setting: Dream Big Initiative’, a flagship programme of Aligarh Muslim University (AMU) aimed at motivating undergraduate and postgraduate students.

Authored by Dr. Naser A. Anjum, Assistant Professor, Department of Botany, AMU, the publication chronicles the lives and achievements of 64 women Nobel Laureates across disciplines such as Physics, Chemistry, Peace and Economics. Published by CaveMark Publications Pvt. Ltd., the work highlights the perseverance and accomplishments of women who overcame barriers to achieve global recognition.

Dr. Anjum, a prolific researcher with over 130 peer-reviewed publications and more than 20 books, received research support from leading national and international agencies, including the Portuguese Foundation for Science and Technology, the Council of Scientific and Industrial Research, and the Department of Biotechnology.
