Aligarh: Professor M. Masoom Raza from the Department of Library and Information Science, Aligarh Muslim University (AMU), delivered an invited talk at the International Conference on Innovation and Digital Transformation in Academic Libraries (ICIDTAL), held at Manav Rachna International Institute of Research and Studies (MRIIRS), Faridabad.
In his talk titled “AI Now and Next,” Prof. Raza provided in-depth insights into the transformative role of Artificial Intelligence in academic libraries. He elaborated on how AI is enhancing user engagement, automating library services, and reshaping the future of knowledge access and management.
During the inaugural session of the conference, an edited volume titled Artificial Intelligence and Emerging Technologies in Libraries was released. The book is edited by Prof. M. Masoom Raza (Editor-in-Chief) and Mr. Imteyazul Haque (Editor) and features scholarly contributions on AI applications, digital tools, and the evolution of library services in the digital era.
Prof. Raza also co-authored three research papers presented during the conference.
