AMU Faculty Member Wins Best Paper Award at Int’l Conference in Oman

Aligarh: Dr. Lamay Bin Sabir, Assistant Professor, Department of Business Administration, Aligarh Muslim University (AMU), has been awarded the Best Paper Award at the International Conference on Intelligent Systems and Artificial Intelligence Applications (ISAA 2026) held at the University of Nizwa, Oman.

His award-winning paper, titled “Bridging Algorithmic Transparency and Managerial Trust: The Role of Explainable AI in Decision-Making – A Systematic Literature Review,” examines the challenges posed by limited transparency in AI-driven decision-making. The study highlights that AI systems are often perceived as “black boxes,” which affects managerial trust and decision effectiveness.

Dean, Faculty of Management Studies and Research, Prof. M. Naved Khan along with Chairperson, Department of Business Administration, Prof. Salma Ahmed congratulated Dr. Lamay on his achievement.
