Aligarh: Dr. Nadeem Ashraf, Department of Sunni Theology, Aligarh Muslim University, participated as a distinguished speaker in a webinar titled “Ramadan and Taqwa” organised by the AMU Alumni Association, Bahrain. The event aimed to explore the essence of Taqwa (piety) and its role in spiritual growth and self-discipline.
Dr Ashraf, joined by Mufti Ashraf Ali from Bahrain, provided valuable insights into the significance of Taqwa in self-purification and strengthening one’s connection with Allah. Their discussions highlighted how fasting and sincere devotion during Ramadan help believers cultivate mindfulness and piety in their daily lives.
He responded to participants’ queries during the interactive session which followed the lecture.
Earlier, the President of the organisation, Dr. Mohammed Shabbir Alam welcomed the guests, speakers and participants.
